Product Design Manager
Major tasks and responsibilities include:
Power brands and Local pearls - assume the following responsibilities;
Under the direction of the Global Design Director, manage Global Power Brand & Category Strategy Plans with regards to Design strategy insights and recommendations.
Working alongside category design leads, translate strategies and insights to define design and product strategies that creating remarkable consumer experiences (both how they feel & think).
Coordinate & lead E2E design activities in product & interaction design.
Apply design thinking and consumer centric innovation principles to lead 3D design ideation, prototyping develop product experience mapping, interaction modelling and design-to-value framework.
Scope and lead 3D design with external agencies and CMO being accountable for design quality, time and cost starting with Design Health Assessment.
Support and lead Employer Brand Language integration into Brand World applications.
Close partnership in all design activities with category Design managers: Define, develop and apply design principles/character into PX, User Experience and Usuer Influence (or Shape) product portfolio architecture and tiering strategy
Define brand/category future design vision (design innovation & equity)
Keep track & pulse on trends, e.g.; category, consumer and industry Lead design thinking approaches in categories and brands by design doing
Close partnership with Product Research Manager: Defining product research strategy and stimuli development/coordination
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) within design / design management with solid experience
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) with solid experience.
- Managing ‘holistic’ design across multiple touchpoints, from innovation to execution.
- A proven track record in building distinctive brand and consumer experiences, delivering notable commercial impact.
